Ever wondered about the magic behind the scenes in our US and Italy offices? Well, it's all thanks to the exceptional work of our beloved Becky and Sheila, our "Panini faces" who radiate positivity and make us always feel like at home.

But what's their secret talent?

We got to have a quick chat with Becky and Sheila to find this out and more...

Enjoy the read!

Can you briefly introduce yourself, including your name, role, and how long you've been with the company?
B: My name is Rebecca Jackson, but I go by Becky, my title is Executive Assistant, and I have been with the company for 17 Years.

S: My name is Sheila Petrone, and I have been working at Panini as the Office Coordinator in the Finance & Administration department since 2012.

What are the key responsibilities you manage on a day-to-day basis?
B: My day to day is different depending on what is going on at that moment. My duties include assisting the Executive Leadership Team along with Marketing, F&A, Sales, Operations, building maintenance and ordering (office/janitorial) supplies. Another task that I manage is company functions, whether it’s meetings, office luncheons, or employee gatherings.

S: My main responsibilities involve managing shipments of goods, along with the overall coordination of the office. This includes tasks such as filing, handling the switchboard, and procuring office supplies, from stationery to water, janitorial and much more.

What do you love about your job?
B: The people that I work with! We have a special group here at Panini!

S: What I love most about my job is collaborating with my colleagues, with whom I get along very well!

What’s your secret talent that no one knows about?
B: My best quality at work is being a team player. I believe that when someone needs my help I am there to assist, I am willing to go the extra mile to help achieve the task at hand.

S: An aspect of my work that I can describe as a talent, perhaps not so secret, is my organizational ability, which is crucial for my role.

Tell us something about yourself: outside of work, what are some of your favorite hobbies or interests?
B:  I love puzzles, reading good mysteries or just binge-watching shows on a cold rainy/snowy day (of course with a glass of wine).
Spending time with my dog Coco (Chocolate Lab).
I am a huge Ohio State Buckeye football fan!
I love to travel/vacationing with my family.

S: In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, especially rock, and whenever I get the chance, I love to travel. My favorite trip so far has been to Japan, but my current dream destination is definitely Iceland.

Tell me something about you that most people don’t know
B:  Something that people don’t know about me is I just started an exercise class/routine every morning starting at 5:15am, so my day literally starts at 4:15am.
One of my favorite meals is homemade chicken paprikash with spaetzles (not the traditional recipe). This recipe has been handed down in my family for generations.

S: Actually, it's difficult to answer this question because people here know me well! For those who may not know, I do love cats and I'm also the one who curates the office playlist every day!
